WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Radiologists, residents in radiology, physicians requesting and using musculoskeletal MR in their clinical work.  A basic knowledge of MR is required.

BACKGROUND & CME
This course is the comprehensive muscoloskeletal MRI module of the Erasmus program. The Erasmus program has been organizing interactive MR teaching courses throughout Europe since 1991.
The course language is English.

LEARNING OBJECTS
After participating to this course consisting of formal lectures, discussion generated by the students and teachers, and case oriented interactive sessions in smaller groups, the participant will be able to:

1. Perform and analyze clinical musculoskeletal MR studies of joints, bones, & soft tissue with traumatic, degenerative, tumorous, inflammatory & infectious diseases.

2. Effectively select patients who will benefit from MR.

3. Choose the appropriate MR approach within the clinical context.

HOW TO GET THERE

The course venue within the historical city centre. To get to the city centre from the airport, you can take a bus (No. 22) or a taxi. A ride to Riga takes an average of 20 minutes. Riga airport can be easily reached from many international airports.

REGISTRATION
Pre-registration is possible here. Pre-registered applicants will receive by e-mail an invitation to finalize registration on a first come first serve basis. Payment can be done on-line by credit card, single or bank transfer. Because of the interactive nature of this course, only 100 participants can be allowed.
Registration is only final after registration fee has been paid.
Cancellation: Refund of registration fee (less administrative costs) will be made when cancellation is received before August 1, 2023. No refund is possible if cancellation is received after this date. In case the course is cancelled due to exceptional circumstances (pandemic, etc.), the registrants have options to transfer their registration to a later Erasmus course, or to be reimbursed.

Certified radiologists: € 850,- / 900,- for early / late registration (before / after August 1, 2023).
Residents (with certification): € 650,-/ 750,- or early / late registration.
Fee includes electronic syllabus, coffee breaks, lunches, reception & a social event including dinner.
